Flooring Options

Floating Flooring:
Floating Flooring consists of a hardwood floor or a laminate floor that is not anchored to the sub-floor. (Floating hardwood floors are always prefinished.) This flooring is appropriate for high-rise apartment buildings and office buildings. It greatly diminishes noise transference between floors; and, it is easy to install. After installation, residents immediately have the use of their office or residence.

Special Designs or Patterns:
Enhance the appearance of the home and reflect the homeowner's creativity and personality. These patterns often combine different types of wood and stains. Rome flooring offers approximately 30 designs, using different kinds of wood and stains. Special designs add a focus of refined elegance to the home. For example, intricate or detailed patterns can be added in front of an entranceway or a fireplace.

Borders:
Borders are becoming increasingly popular. By using a combination of woods or the same wood and a contrasting stain, borders can be used to frame a room and make it appear larger. They add class, interest and a focal point.

Ceramic Tile:
Ceramic Tiles are ideal for Walls, floors, countertops, islands and floors. Rome Flooring has a wide variety of ceramic and porcelain tiles with elegant styles and design options.

Revitalize your floors with a "buff and recoat." A buff and recoat involves light sanding of the top layer of the flooring. No wood is removed during the sanding process and only a small amount of the old finish. Following the light sanding, either one or two coats of varathane are applied. The result is a floor that is restored to its original beauty.

This process accomplishes the following:

  • Extends the life of your floors.
  • Takes little time and is cleaner than a complete sanding process.
  • Cost effective.

The professionals at Rome Flooring are experts in all aspects of floor installation and refinishing. They can assist and advise you on the following:

  • How to refinish and/or install any flooring.
